I agree, with one hesitaton. I don't think legal "stock" brushless motors will be ROAR legal anytime soon. I don't think the big three, Associated, Epic and Trinity are anxious to see brushless motors legal in stock classes. At the last race at our local track we had almost 50 entrees in stock classes. That is a lot of brushed motor sales that could be in jeopardy if brushless suddenly became legal.
And I believe the big three do have some (maybe too much) influence on ROAR decisions concerning legal motors.
But I have hope. I would be willing to throw out my collection (about 20) of 27 turn motors, and springs, and brushes, and comm lathe and a lot of other misc crap, for two or three of those 13.5 motors that vtl1180ny mentioned.
