ORIGINAL: Nitro Napalm
LADS im sending my truck i for repairs very soon.. i have no idea whats wrong with it so im gving it to the hobby shop to fix. I hope to god i don't loose any power from the engine as a result of not taking it out for a year or so. Ok just an update on the events. Im gonna bash the hell out of it for a while.. being here in the UK theres plenty of BMX tracks and such so should be fun.
I learnt from everything ive done with this truck that it is WAY to light.. the reason you can't get full power to the ground is that it wheelspins as theres not enough weight to keep its "feet on the ground".. Its fun but not practical even if you buy a bigger engine. Any suggestions guys? im thinking when i get enough money ill just upgrade the a-arms to aluminium including a more powerful engine.. what do you guys think? Do you think the same when it comes to the power to weight ratio.. Thanks in advance..
P.S. Doesnt everyone just love the smell of nitro in the morning
I recommended since you are taking it to the hobby shop to have them check drive train as well just to make sure. The weight is just fine, could be tires not proper for the surface you are running on. I do not have a problem getting mine to hook up and the only added alloy I have is the steering hubs (knuckles). If anything if I could I would make mine lighter as weight is lost HP. Good Luck
