Good link. In my case, I found my coller was not far enough down on the shaft. As soon as a little lift happened, it would lift the whole shaft a mm or two, causing a large collective until I brought it down.

As for lube, I got some penetrating silicone lubricant from the electrical isle at Home Depot. It works wonders. The spin down takes forever now, because everything is so smooth.

Interesting about the blade grips. I'll try that and see what it does.
