Agree, Dick, the F18 was very very good too, including the square loops, but that Mig 29 was in a class of its own ! I (briefly) looked at the crowd when it was flying, EVERYONE seemed stunned into an awed silence , never seen that before ! very impressed by the Patrouille Swiss too, their station keeping was incredibly accurate and tossing those decoy flares, in formation, was quite magnificent. Their total show was probably not as good as the Arrows but that decoy finale was real showmanship, and something the Reds are not equipped to duplicate (yet, but BAe told me the new Hawks will be able to do almost anything as its a lead-in for the Typhoon) Another wonderful RIAT and I've never seen Gloucestershire look more stunning as I drove through the back roads, no traffic, past historic airfields such as Little Rissington,surrounded by stands of golden corn in brilliant sunshine.
