RE: LA Racer-40
After finishing the LA Racer 40 I installed a Thunder Tiger Pro 46 with an aluminum prop nut and 11X6 prop. The CG appeared to be dead on the book settings with empty tank. On the first flight it was apparent that the plane was a bit nose heavy so I moved the battery and receiver aft about 1/2 inch. The next flight proved that this was not enough shift in weight. I have had to add about 1/2 oz of weight between the holes for the the horizontal stab. This should take care of any CG problems. I'll know tomorrow.
