the elevator being only on one side works well actually. i've done it on a few other models, as have others. if both sides of the elevator moved opposite, then yeah they'd work as ailerons, but with only one, it just acts as a normal elevator.

that looks a heck of a lot better than the stock jet! so far the only thing i like about the jet is that i can fly it easily just inches off the ground. that and it glides much better.
