I for one would like to know the process you used to get a very thick glue in place.
Sure thing.
1. I cleaned the inner bead of the tire and the rim using pyroil non-clorinated brake cleaner. I'm guessing that anything like acetone, alcohol or window cleaner would do the same. Something that dries quickly and doesn't leave a residue.
2. I used a sharp piece of aluminum filler rod that I had laying around. A tooth pick will perform the same function.
3. I squeezed out small drop sized blobs and took them onto the end of the tooth pick. Trying to get the smallest drop that didn't over-do the bead section i was working on and large enough to make it worth the scoop.
4. Once enough of it was applied, some squished out of the bead. I took the brake cleaner on a rag and wiped the excess off of the side wall and rim.
5. I let the tires dry with no weight applied to the tires so they wouldn't distort.

Any idea how long the 5200 lasts in the tube after the end gets snipped?
My guess would be the 2 year mark if the tube is kept out of the heat.
