Well, I have some cool news too. Well not as exciting as a grandson but it's at least on the top ten list.... I went to a new flying field (new to me anyway) and one of the guys I know let me fly as a guest. It was a great evening of flying and chat and I've decided to join their club and fly there. It's a nice place, nicer than I thought it would be and the guys seem nice. I got to re-maiden the Mayhem and it flew very, very good. What an awesome plane. That's the biggest plane I've ever flown and that was a thrill.
I found out this morning that the state park where I was flying (that was shut down due to flying violations) is now shut down due to vandilism. Apparently some kids cut some trails into the park to set up a band and left all kinds of garbage and mess so the park is going to be shut down for a while, while they figure out what to do. Yikes! Heathens and idiots are everywhere. [X(]
