Default RE: WHY GO BRUSHLESS??????????

ORIGINAL: specracer

yea you run 25 mins with a brushed motor nonstop you got to cut it and replace the brushes and you probly ruend the magnets and need them zaped. i hate to say it but i am looking to get a fast brushless setup.what the fastest brushless motor on the market for 1/10 scale sadan racing by the way?
Sure you can turn faster laps with a well maintained and tuned brushed mod motor, but the longer races kicks that out and makes for more track time, equal motor systems, low maintence brushless systems and using 8000 mah li-pos ends the battery wars forever in the longer races.

Li-pos and brushless simplify the RC racing that may attract some new blood and bring back to electric from gas some old blood with longer races that are badly needed with electric racing to appeal to the masses!
