No the Super Hots is not lighter. The Hot Hots will come out very much lighter probably in the 4pnd range. I will have to talk to a fellow club member today at the field. Yes I am in south texas so we can fly har har lol. I was just saying that if you had plans for both you could take the best from both and get a lighter plane then the original Super Hots and do allot more with it. The one i built was well an experiment lol untel i saw the Hot Hots as i enlarged all the control surfaces as such. Now the Super Hots Built to the M.A.N. plans is lighter than the Midwest version but the wings to not come off. And I supstituted all the ply in the formers for balsa along with the fuse sides and only used ply for the firewall and the landing gear. Any more info please feel free to ask.
