Default RE: Ham TX options?

I would recommend that you contact the dealer/LHS or mail order house of your choice and ask him to order a transmitter/system for you. Virtually all of the Futaba's are available in Ham channels (0-9) upon request and probably the other mfg too. It may take a little while to get it into stock but it can be done. Most places don't stock them because of the slow sale rate but it would be an easy way to make sure your channel is always open.

Make a few calls/emails and see what you can find out.

Good luck.

Oops, I may have spoken too quicky. I got to looking around more and I'm no longer sure I was correct.

and ask if they mfg radios in the range you are interested in.

Good luck again.
