Not suer about the grease?? I use oil for my beard trimmer, it's thin
and doesn't attract dirt.

The spindle is the piece between the blade grips. A metal shaft that the blade grip screws
thread into. You will need 2 allen wrenches,one at each end, unscrew one end and pull out
the spindle from the other end. I then place the spindle in my drill chuck and unscrew the other screw.
Then roll the spindle on a flat surface. Glass table works good. If it is even slightly bent
I would buy a couple of new ones and main shafts while your at it.

Does your swash move up and down freely(with motors un plugged??)
