not only is it easier to learn to drive with a slower engine, its also better to learn to tune with a low cost engine. that way you wont waste a $300 one.
I've never had a tougher time tuning a big block engine than with the Hyper 8port. I put an OS carb on it and all was lovely.
i've had one and had no carb problems, tho i have heard alot of people say they did. but at any rate i never said it was easy to tune, i said i'd rather kill a $139 engine than a $300 one.
