RE: How To: Diff Lock a TT-01
Locking the Rear Diff has never Caused any harm to any of Our TT-01's or TB-02's.
As for Added Stress,,the only Added Stress in drift is on Steering and Bearings..
Since there is next to no grip/resistance on PVC or ABS Drive Train Components only suffer from High RPM.
Unlike Grip racing where Torque loads are applied through braking and cornering...
(Or smacking into a gutter or wall)
As For the Nitro, Its Not recommended to lock a Niitro's Diff.. Should the Diff Destroy its self with, then there can be BIG problems, not such a worry with an Electrc as a New Drift motor Doesnt cost that much..
Since Electric is the Only way to slide, We have never tested it with a Nitro Motor with a Blu-Tac locked Diff..
So Far Our TL-01, TT-01, TB-02's have not suffered any Damage from a Blu Tac Locked rear Diff.
