I have never had a connection come out of a receiver. I always wrap the receiver in foam and strap it down with velcro so I don't think the wire can come loose. NOW the other connections like servo extensions I use either heat-shrink tubing or dental floss to hold them together. The dental floss work great and is easier to remove also.
