Default Video: Flying the BCP

Here I am just hovering and goofing off in my garage with the BCP. As you can see, and hopefully hear, the rotor is really 'singing' nicely now that everything is in alignment, and I have the 3S lipo + 8T pinion.

I did have a slightly sticky collective as you will probably be able to tell. It seemed to get better toward the end, however. It's being caused by the new pitch control link I installed the other day. It grips the balls too tight, and makes the whole thing 'stiff'. I have worked with them some, and have loosened it a bit, but my collective is still just a tiny bit sticky. It was smooth as silk before the last crash. I hope to get it worked out soon. Has anyone else had this problem with the tight links? If so, how did you solve it?

I compressed the crap out of this video because it was originally 600MB. I think the quality came out OK, but not great...

I shot this with a little Samsung 7mp digital still camera that also (barely) takes videos. I basically just sat it down, and tried to fly in front of it. So, the video is a bit rough to say the least. I fly off camera some, but not too much. I just thought some of you might like to see a beginner trying to tame the beast

You will also probably note that I pretty much stayed tail-in most of the time. I did do some side-in, but very little during this video. I had a BAD crash the other day, and it's made me more cautious I am going to stop messing around so much, and get back to mastering the hover. It's just so darn fun to take it out and fly it around!!!
