You guys would know. Maybe I am just unlucky recently but I never had problems like this until they became hard to get. In the past, when I needed parts or an engine, I got them immediately. Now I have to estimate my needs in advance or wait for the YS boat to come in.

I was introduced to YS engines 7 years ago and have been abusing them ever since racing warbirds. They take a licking and keep on ticking. The .91 was an awesome engine and the 1.10 is more incredible.

From now on, I am going to completely disassemble all new engines and make sure there are no obvious problems before breaking them in. This is not a bad practice anyway to make sure there is no manufacturing debris inside.
