i tought of this yesterday (after my aa land in wather, i was drying it with the vacuum cleaner) about that you think you're frying the rx with wind... you should try a fried rx with still an engine running (just in case you fry or destroy something else). wire it to have an amp meter, put it to full throttle and use your vacum cleaner to create wind. this way you know what's going on with the amp.
