Christmas in July
Hello all, just wanted to share some good fortune.
Word kind of got around at work that I fly RC airplanes and a guy that is retiring and moving contacted me. He asked if I wanted an airplane. He said he didn't have the time or room for it. Why yes I said. Not really expecting much I was pleasantly surprised when he brought it in the next day.
Here is the Haul: (everything was bought brand new an never used or assembled, still in mint condition)
Hobbico Airvista ARF airplane
Futaba Skyport 4 radio w/ flight pack
OS 40 LA engine
Complete field box including:
Stack On box
MPI power panel
Hanger9 gel cell and charger
MarkX electric fuel pump
glow driver
Sullivan 12v starter
plummed 1 gallon fuel can
This setup is so complete that, after inventory, a complete beginner would only need a box of rubber bands, a prop and a gallon of fuel and they would be ready to fly.
Now what to do with all of this?
I already have 3 trainers (2 glow and 1 electric)
I could use the flight pack but maybe I will keep the set together to help someone else get into the hobby.
I could sell what I don't need and buy another airplane but would that make me gready considering it was given to me free?
HMMM, my head is spinning.
