Hey Wecky & GTX!
As a long-time R/C flyer with many hundreds of hours (and models....) under my belt, I reckon the spex of the Wing Dragon look just about perfect for an introduction to 3-axis R/C flight.
You get a pusher prop, so no chance of breaking it; replaceable bits e.g. wings - good news; Tx, Rx and servo's which u can re-use as and when, and an ELEVATOR to get u out of trouble in a hurry,
You can't go wrong! I haven't seen one of these, but I'll eat my hat if it isn't an immediate success. They now sell them here in the UK, but GPI models (above) is an expensive source.
Get one and fly like the birds!

P.S. oh and when u get good, u can put in a cheap brushless motor and some (light) LiPos, and be a REAL HOOLIGAN in your local kiddie park!
