RE: micro CL
There's a guy named Clancy Arnold that used to do some indoor CL flying in gymnasiums and such. He had a battery on his belt and used light copper control lines. The lines carried the power to the motor. This allowed for a lighter plane, and since the power switch is at the battery he could turn it on himself for a roll on groung take off. No need for a partner or a stooge. But then if the battery is only 2.5 gram, why not just let it ride in the plane. You might consider some type of timer at least until you work out speed and line length. Twelve minutes can seem like forever if the laps are too fast.
