Its a bit heavier than the DA-50, but unless you are flying competition, this kind of reliability and performance is well worth the few extra ounces.
The reliability factor is much more of an issue than just the weight. I will stack up the Zenoah against ANY of the lightweigts in COMPETITION, aerobatic competition,not only for warbirds only.
The common mistake is to try and compare a bare lightweight to a complete stock Zenoah. All-up weights are very similar when the correct mufflers etc are fitted to the Zenoah's. Compare Ralph's G-62's to ANY other 60cc class engines.
BTW - the video is awesome. Who said innovation was dead?
