Right on dave i love OS there pricey but u cant beat the great performance and reliability. several years ago i bought one of the os 46 fx and after atleast 7 gallons iv never had the engine to die in flight and it would always fire right up after the first 2 or 3 cranks after setting for weeks (without after run maint), I even ran it with a tuned pipe about the 4th gallon. The engine today has prolly 12 gallons on it and i can tell its losing compression but its still a good engine. Iv just been hard core OS$ caus of the performance, but iv just seen to many pple on the flightline with cheaper brands and supertigre is the most popular iv seen, so for half the prise with just a little less BHP and RPM for the cubic inch im just itching to buy a S.T. You super tiger operators opinions would be very apresiated. THANK YOU

I don't know if you did this or not, but whenever running a tuned pipe, you must add another head gasket under the cylinder head. Your engine's short life could have been caused by this omission. I've made this mistake too and ruined a couple of engines this way, long, long time ago. BTDT
