Default My Little Caesar's Pizza Offshore Racer

Hi Everyone!
This is my first gas model boat that I built in 1988. It is a 59" Apache hull which was produced by Performance Models out of Miami FL. The motors available back then was the ECHO 22 cc water cooled motor. The hp is about 1.5 a far cry from what is out there today. The outdrive is a steerable "funcraft" outdrive turning a prather 260. The speed is approx.25 mph, again nothing compared to what is out there today. To this day I am still enjoying my model and that little ECHO is so reliable that I can't even remember when it quite on me. When Performance Models (owner Bill Woods) quite the business approx. 12 years ago he sold all of the molds to WHH. My next project will be another V hull with a little more hp and speed. I would like to lean toward the MHZ($) but I AM well aware of the issues that other modelers have had in the past dealing with these people(s). The finish is all automotive lacquer paint with a clear over it. I am thinking about replacing the ECHO with a PUM 26 (stock) so I don't hopefully chew up the U-joints but I am being told that these joint should hold up with the stock zen's that are out there.

Regards
