I too had no idea that getting a good one was a trick. Being cheap by nature I just got a hand crank pump when I first was rounding up my field gear. It works great to this day. I also a little later down the road won an electric pump by Hangar 9 at a swap meet being held at the LHS during their raffle. I sat on this thing for about 3 or 4 months forgetting constantly that I had won it, till one day I remembered I had it in time to hook it up. It works really well too. I wired it into my power panel, set the pump on fill & now I can just use the power panel controls to operate it with. Both fill or empty can be selected right there in front from the power panel. Works great, it really appeals to the lazy side in me
