RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?
Hello all,
Ordered one of these yesterday and I suppose I should have checked this forum first. I ordered the .46 AX and some 12 x 4 props thinking it would power this plane nicely. Should I return the engine to Tower when it arrives or try moving everything as far forward as possible and give it a try. I have always flew scale and funflys and would like to try a little 3d for a change. One other option I may have. I have noticed that some guys are severly overpowering the plane with .75 two strokes and .90FS. I do have a new ST G-90, would that be to much with say a 14 x 4W prop and some throttle management. I would like to learn to hover and have the power to pull out of hover if needed however I do not want to pull the plane in half or break the tail section off. Let me know what you guys think, this thread is way to long for a working guy to read. Thanks for any suggestions in advance. I will be sure to check here in the future when buying airplanes, I find it hard to believe that a plane that is listed as a .32 to ..46 two stroke or .52 to .70FS is having to be over powered so much. GP should change their adds with this plane.
