The need for a roll cage depends on how you intend to drive your truck. If you a "Pedal to the Metal" driver and take every corner wide open....then you might need one. If you like to "FLY" your truck through the air doing massive high jumps.....then you might need one. If you think RC Trucks are for destroying and don't care about what happens to it....then save your money since you can damage even a roll cage with enough force put on it in the right place. If your a careful driver....don't race....just drive with other careful friends who also care about there trucks....then you may not need one. It all depends on your style and what you intend to do with your truck.
