Again....it depends on "HOW YOU DRIVE" and how others drive around you. Racing is going tp put your truck in the heat of the battle....so to speak. So....virtually anything can happen when your racing. Also...if your going to race.....keep in mind if you add a roll cage to your truck....then your adding additional weight to it. Not all roll cages are created equal and not all other racers will have roll cages either. If your extremely worried about damaging your components on your truck...and that is all your going to be worrying about.....then maybe for your piece of mind...you need a roll cage. as has been posted here many times....guys who race (I don't).....will tell you that speed is not what wins races....it's the control over the rig that does. However, again....you are also at the mercy of "THE OTHER GUY" behind the wheel so it's your call. Do you need a roll cage? You should probably be the best one to answer that question.
