Default RE: Why is the fuel not being sucked into my engine?

Solve the problem by removing the carb, disassemble the carb, soak all of the carb parts, including the carb body, in gasoline for about 1/2 hour. Reassemble the carb. But before you install the carb to the engine, pour some gasoline into the engine and work it around by turning the crankshaft. This will prevent a dry start that can damage an engine.

Hint: Remember how the carb goes back together. Take some digital photos when you are taking it apart and you should not have any trouble putting it back together again.
