As soon as I sent that question, I wondered why. I knew that I would have to try it myself. It appears to be workable. If the angle is to extreme the plane won't climb well. But, if you hit in the happy medium, the plane doesn't kite as much. And, for you pylon racers, turns flatter. Here are some pics.
