if you havn't already changed the clutch bell then it should ba a 15 tooth, thats what a stock mayhem comes with. to your original question yes you can do that, but unless you want to break something with all the torque and also have no top end then i wouldn't recomend it. try a 13t or 12t clutch bell with you stock spur gear first.
