thanks. i picked up the roto back plate from my LHS last night. (17$).
when i went in there. i had the pull starter in my hand with the spring
unwound. i asked. can you fix this???? just joking around. he said no way!!!
i laughed and said just give me the roto plate.
Now you can finish getting it broke in and let us know how it runs. It is a pain but pull starters can be fixed.
