RE: what's the difference in buggies???
I raced a Hyper 7 RTR for about 6 months last year. While I can't say that I regret getting the RTR, as it was a great learning tool, I would have to admit that in the end, it would have been cheaper for me to just buy a kit.
If I had to get a RTR, I would look at the Jammin X1RTR.
But, if you plan on upgrading to an OS motor anyways and using your own transmitter, than there is no reason to get the RTR. You will just have to replace the seering servo anyways. Check out the Hyper 8's. I think they are running around $450 and are ARR, just add Radio gear, motor pipe. If you dont have a starter box, of don't want to buy one, you can still get a pull start motor. Best of both worlds in my opinion.
