I've had my ST-R for a few months now and its been very reliable. The only issue they have is shimming of the diff. You need to check the diffs after about half-a-gallon, then re-shim them. About a half hour per diff, so an hour and you're done!

I've not had to replace anything on my ST-R due to a design flaw....
