It's not a good idea,stickwith aregular retract servo . You may need help on it at the field or something and guys are going to look at it like "what the heck is this?"

Retracts servos are not porportional like regular servos. They turn 180degrees each way and thats it. Most of my planes use mechanical retracts. I very "strongly urge and highly recommend" you use 4-40 rods on them. It will may a more stable operation where as the 2-56 rods bow out.

Hook up one side and get it working well before you hook up the other side. Yu may notice whenyou first get them hook up and running, they may not fully exten or close. You can adjust this by moving the rod further out on the servo arm When the wheels are extended or retracted, the servos shouled be around the 10 and 4 oclick position or a 2 and 8 or similar there of.

When set up right, they work just fine
