Bear in mind 38, that we are using (that is, we that
are using) 30% Cool Power Heli fuel. It has 22% oil content so we are sort of cancelling most of that heat with pure lubrication. I did notice a tiny bit more heat using the 30% vs. !5% but not that much. And the Saito 82 of mine does just as Barry said, idles smoother and transitions like a banshee, no hesitation of any kind. Plus it really growls with it. I may consider mixing a gallon of each, Cool Power 30% and Omega 15% for some 22.5% nitro and 19.5% oil content. I think that would be ideal for me! I have heard of people running as low as 12% oil in the Saitos but I think that's nuts. My Saito book says to use a minimum of 20% oil for a long life. I don't mind running the 17% that's in the Omega because of the special "Cleancastor" with wetting special agent and a polarity manipulation that creates an utra-high viscosity oil that makes it equivelent to an 18% to 19% oil, but I wouldn't use anything lower.
