Yeah, I've had C-rations before. But T-rations were something the army served in the field. They were kind of like huge TV dinners. They came in huge metal tins that would be heated in water and then opened to serve out of. They would come packaged as a whole meal that would be used to serve the entire unit. The were normally prepared by the mess section and served in the chow line. They weren't too bad really (of couse some were better than others). I loved the ones that came with huge cans of chocolate pudding for dessert!!!!
