I cut this from one of AnnMarie's replies to this question - or you can follow the thread posted above. Either way, six volts on the Futaba digital servos is ok.

Hi, Ed! 6V is fine, unregulated. In fact, these servos are used with the new HRS car sytems which MUST have 6V unregulated and digitals only.,

The servos which say 4.8V only say so because they were originally intended as gyro servos, and the gyros must NOT be run with unregulated 6V.
