monstermaker I somehow missed those posts, and your boats are quite impressive. The coke bottle one particularly! Was it stabile? googledperson I have had trouble with motor leads coming off, they all came off the defender electronics and I had one lead pull from the aa motor as well. My flat bottomed boat seems to 'stick' to the water such that it really doesn't move fast, there's a laminar friction going on. Did you run into that problem as well monstermaker? The defender electronics seem to have a wierd powerband so that it's out of control for about 5 seconds then mellows out, but it doesn't overcome that laminar friction thing so even though the thing is screaming and there's lots of wind, the boat doesn't go too far. Definitely needs more work. neurotex has a plane in his hangar pics that looks like it has a defender motor, but neuro is that a defender motor with aa electronics? I could barely get the defender that I had to fly at all. maybe a different defender.
