Default RE: RAM 750 ecu

Most people are recommending the FADEC ECU - it seems like an easy alternative.

My question is, (without hijacking ) those of you that have had a case pressure RAM converted to hall sensor - how much did it cost and was it worth it? I am about to send a RAM750p to Carlos that will need to be converted and I know he'll take great care of it/me - I just wanted to know from those of you that have done this what to expect $wise.

My impression about a 750 plus (please correct if I am wrong, I have never owned/ran a RAM before) is that because of it's balance and temp tolerance can be taken to a thrust level between a 750 and 1000 rmp wise as a countinuos rating.

I'm sure (and hope) some experienced RAM operators will chime in soon!
