Default RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

hey 46u
yes i did. i did have a few issues.
1. the servo saver on the steering needed a bigger
washer. it popped right off. almost ran into a curb. no big deal.
2. the stock brake disk was stuck to the plate. i thought it was
the engine clutch. pulled engine for nothing. i was able to free it up. i went for the carbon disk at my LHS yesterday.
i ran 4 more tanks thur it with the HSN back at break in setting. i` m still getting hot over 280 to 300.
what number glow plug should i use? the first one burnt out on break in.
i`m using the same as my savage. a number 5 or 8. i forget.
speaking of my savage. i put the thing in a lake yesterday.
luckly it didn`t go that far and was stilling running when i got to it.
the water was about half way up on the tires. i fished it out and ran it dry.
last night when i got home i took the truck apart. luckly the water didn`t go up to
the radio box. but what a mess. i never seen my savage so dirty.
its going to take me all week to clean. but at least i didn`t fry the RX or servos.
the guys i was running with had a good laugh. they were telling me stories about
their submarine cars. LOL seens i`m not the frist one to put a car under water. LOL
all and all. great bashing day.
