A lot has to do with what you are going to do with the vehicle. Are you going to bash or race? Being you are new to nitro does no matter what you get it will be fast. Fast is over rated as you can only drive so fast and control a vehicle particularly being new. All I can say is at the track people break a lot more parts on Traxxas then they do on the HPI vehicles.
