RE: 12z Range problem - more
Bill,
"No, we did not state that there was a "known" problem with your particular receiver". Quite right, you stated that there was a known problem with your transmitters. Do you wish me to repeat your answer?
This is an international forum, hence I made it clear that I was from the UK before asking my question.
"The difficulty you are having is not Futaba's problem, but that of the maker of your non-Futaba equipment. " Not true, my non-Futaba equipment works just fine with 9 series and WC2 Futaba transmitters, the difference is the 12z - Futaba transmitters.
"We are the North American service center, and cannot speak for systems that are made for use outside of North America. You would have to check with Ripmax, who is the Futaba distributor for the U.K. " This is an International forum, you, however, are the moderator. Please pass my question to someone who can answer the question from Futaba Corporate if you elect not to answer, I will, of course, pass the answer onto other forum members, and assume that a non-answer is an admission of guilt.
For your information, my transmitter was checked by my retailer on Sunday, and no fault was found. I trust my retailer, he is an honest man, I trust his judgement, but, at the end of the day, I have a club-load of witnesses who will attest that the 12z has problems that have NOT been explained. The Futaba brand is being seriously damaged by this issue. I don't personally care what brand I use, I do care if I'm being fobbed off(Sorry, don't know what the US equivalent of that UK phrase is)
Please pass this thread, and the previously closed thread, to someone who has the knowledge and power to close the issue by being honest. Closing, in my mind does not mean "It's your problem, sunshine" - particularly as you have already admitted that there is a problem of Futaba's making
I'm not on a mission, I'm not trying to embarrass anyone, I'm not trying to cure world hunger, I just want to know the truth - and so far, I believe, I'm not getting it.
SO, WHAT ABOUT ANSWERING THE QUESTION(...ANYONE IN FUTABA CORPORATE...) "DOES THE KNOWN AND ADMITTED PROBLEM AFFECT UK TRANSMITTERS? - (Yes, I am shouting, yes, I am getting to the end of my ability to be reasonable)
Chris
