Maybe, but maybe not. 2548 planes are harder to launch than smaller 2610 planes with the same power. And it's more important to fly what works for your club, or what other guys in your area are flying if you want non-club members to fly. As far as I know, there hasn't been any 2548 anywhere near NJ yet. There are some guys in that area that have experience with the 1/12th scale classes though.
