I have three-brass-fittings and I cannot figure what the third one is for. I have the typical ones for the fuel pickup into the carb, the one for the tank pressure on the muffler but the third is located on the underside about an inch behind the prop.

Any thoughts as to what this is?

Hi Mark,

The fitting you are wondering about is a crankcase breather. You put a piece of hose on it about 4 inches or so long at it is only for draining off stray oil from the motor. With the inverted mounting of the Saito in the UCD, you may also lengthen it, tying it to your landing gear so that it carries away the oil and drops it out of harms way. Don't leave it unhosed but at the same time, don't cap it off either, the oil has to go somewhere.
