Well youre in for some fun. Ive had the CP for a couple weeks now and am just getting pretty good at hovering tail in. I can go through a battery pack now without smashing my shins or small animals and children. I dont have the website but if you do a search for "Radds school of rotary flight" and follow the program you wont be sorry. Its an awesome site.
Ive flown planes for a while now and learning the heli is something else. But its a ton of fun as well. Even if you dont follow Radds then at least read all the info on his site, it has a lot of info on helis that lots of people dont know.Such as why your heli will drift left when you lift off slowly.
So anyway ,Welcome to the wonderful world of helis.Hope you enjoy as Im sure you will. And when you get frustrated( which you undoubtedly will) just take a break and go at it again later. Its worth sticking with.
