We just started a combat thing at our club too. It all started when some guy flying a Cub started swatting at a Stik...very funny, but not survivable for the Cub which spiraled in after losing the tail.

Now we have 6 guys with JK Aerotech planes. There are 2 F4U, 2 FW 190, 1 P-51 ,and a Zero. We all just placed our orders on-line and the planes arrived 3 days later, none of us talked a person.

My FW-190 was just completed 8/9/06 and flown. It is a very good flying airplane.

If I were you I would get one built and take it to the field even if nobody else has one yet, it'll get them going again.
