But the power.....it's pretty awesome.
Is that all? What about the smooth linear throttle response? What about the lack of a lean spot in the carburator at 5/8 throttle? What about not fussing about header length, and not having to mold a longer pipe recess in your plane?
Now all you need is a good French kit to build and fly.
Sorry I missed Nats. I am almost completely out of this hobby. I want to participate, but I am low on cash, and my fitness goals are displacing all other interests.

Hmmmm...I didn't have any of those issues with my 140 set up. Ok well the pipe length is definitely longer. But the only issue I had was running out of power in Muncie. That same power pack is in another plane right now, untouched, and is ballistic down here. As I suspected.
I expected a lot of ribbing over this one. But a French plane? NEVER!!!!!!!!!!
You would've had fun in Muncie, lotsa wood roaches [8D]
And Steve, circumstances (and other forces) have made my decision for me, I won't be flying masters until next year. So tell Mike to get to Jacksonville, I want a rematch!!!!!
BTW have you decided whether or not to fly the new schedules at Tangerine? I'll be there regardless, but everyone is buzzing about the possibility. it is a great idea if you feel like doing it.
