Profile plane Upgrade. need some help
Hi PT,
I have a Morris Knife that I just got finished. I have the Saito 72 on it for power. I also bought some DS 3421 mini-digitals for it, but have not tried them out yet except on the bench. They are very small and light. The servos only weigh a mere 1.04 ounces. They are very powerful for their size, but are somewhat expensive. They put out 65 oz/in of torque at 4.8v and 81.25 oz/in at 6v. I'll be using a very light 6 volt battery. I haven't seen anybody try these yet so I really can't say how well this will work, but I feel certain these will be good servos. The geartrain is metal. I went with the lightest components I could find just to see how good I could get this thing to perform. As soon as I fly this plane some I'll let everyone know how the servos and things are doing. The servos look like a low profile 341 if you've ever seen one of those. They are very quiet and precise...and powerful...I about pinched the $#-^ out of myself playing with one! hehe It's really too early to offer anything positively about these, but I just thought I would tell you what I did on mine. Like I said, I'll definately let everyone know how they work out.
