The best bang for the buck will come from a little more engine. Upgrading to a 46 or 50 and a suitable prop (i use APC 12.25 X 3.75's and 12x4) will make a world of difference. My favorites are Irvine 53, OS 46. Most others in that size range will do the job too.

In the servo department, it would be good to look at reducing weight first. Try HS 81 for throtle, and go with a smaller battery. I use 350 mAh, the 81 for throtle and standard servos for everything else. I typically fly over an hour in a day and have never come close to running out of battery. Less weight makes everything work better. For a cheap boost in servo performance try 6 volt. havent done it myself, but i hear a little more juice to those servos really make them come to life.


Anyway, experiment, tweek, discover, ask questions, and have a blast
